For many years, I’ve been quite happy snapping and selling photos of a wide variety of images from nature to nuture. However, a few years ago I decided that if I was going to take the leap into blogging that at the very least, I should take the time to try and learn about the images stored on my hard drives.
Google and I have become very close working companions in this endeavor.
I’ve learned via Google and this website: that this cute group of colorful yellow mushrooms with white speckles are a variety of Amanita muscaria var. formosa.
I spotted one under some thing shrubbery while taking my morning walk and was happily surprised to find several more. As always, there were a few curious folks wondering what on earth I was doing bending under the shrubs with my iPad.
