Fashion Friday – Black, Blue and White Swirls

Buying dresses with the exact colors, size and fabric is amazing. It’s super fun to never having to leave my house to go dress shopping.  I love this style of dress, a bit loose depending on size, the fabric is the perfect weight, cute side slit and no ironing needed. When I packed for my trip to Madrid last summer, my carry-on bag had 6 dresses, matching Pashmina scarves, 3 pairs of shoes with room to spare and that was just on one side!

This lovely swirls pattern was inspired by one of my DNA Ancestry test results of Estonia whose flag colors are black, blue and white.

PS. I’m so excited that my newly designed bandanas arrved today, including one to match my dress above.

Fashion Friday – Blue, Yellow and White Paint Splashes Dress

My first time wearing my newly designed Blue, Yellow and White Paint Splashes, side slit dress was while attending one of my granddaughter’s 6th, Unicorn Birthday Party held at a horse farm in Pembroke, MA.

Due to medical issues, it was touch and go right up to the day of the day of the party if I would even be able to attend so I decided to wear something pretty without my favorite black accent color. The colors were perfectly printed on fabric that was just the right weight, no slip needed. Also, at my age, I prefer long dresses, however, you can also cut and hem it a bit shorter if you like to adjust the length.

I enjoy buying my own graphic printed dress designs on Artsadd. My only “complaint” is that items are shipped from China which takes about 3 weeks to arrive, unless you upgrade to expedited shipping, otherwise, the pricing, the printing and items I’ve ordered are wonderful.

The Number One Reason Why I Like to design Custom Color Dresses – Fashion Friday

My daughters were very impressed that I designed and wore a dress that didn’t feature my favorite color black.

Every few months I purchase different color headscarves and then create colorful pattern print dresses to match. This Blue Watercolor Gradient dress incorporates three scarf colors so I’ll be able to switch among the three choices.

The number one cool reason I like about custom color fashion designs is not needing to go from store to store in search of matching items. A close second is planning a trip and easily packing according to a color theme.

What favorite item would you like to color match for Fashion Friday?

Wearable Wednesday – Summer dress style in Madrid, Spain

Saturday was day four of my son’s 22nd birthday trip to Madrid. Unfortunately for me, it was a very bad day medically. My son also decided to stay in and nap due to some jet lag. Magically, around 3:00pm, I began to feel better and chose to wear my easy wear, earth toned Gray and Pink Granite designed side slit dress as we decided we’d venture out for a bit.

Since we had explored Plaza Mayor, to the right of our Tryp Atocha hotel and Puerto del Sol situated behind us, we decided to explore going left to the park. (Jardines del Buen Retiro)

I packed plenty of my sleeveless dress designs knowing that even though visiting Madrid in August was hot as expected, it was a hot heat vs humid. We were glad to feel gentle breezes under the many shady trees and thankfully countless benches to sit throughout this expansive and lovely sandy retreat.

Tip for the ladies – the vast majority of the park is sandy with some paved sidewalks, wear comfortable flat shoes that you can easily clean.

Saturday Summary Sales Smiles for July and August via my Artsadd, CafePress and Society6 shops

I have to admit that I was wildly pleased to see my very first sales posted to my Khoncepts Artsadd shop.

August 1, 2016 was when I opened a shop on Artsadd.com because they sold blank umbrellas that I could add my own artwork to.  I use Artsadd to design and buy all of my dresses, however it’s wonderful to finally have some new clients who purchased the type of items that inspired me to give Artsadd a try.

Art Khoncepts designing foldable umbrellas

Black is my favorite go to wardrobe color. However my adult children have asked if I could also wear the many other shades in the spectrum,  so as a nod to them, 75% of my Art Khoncepts designs now incorporate black along with all of the other hues represented in this fabulous abstract printed umbrella.

AND I’ve personally ordered the matching dress and tunic hoodie for myself. They can be paired with a multitude of boots, shoes or sandals.

I love ordering clothes from my online shops and having them fit perfectly. Colors printed exactly as designed and the weight and feel of the fabric is amazing.

Doodling and creating designs is a relaxing process that helps take my mind off of 24/7 neck pain due to cancer surgery that went removed the cancer but the healing process went sideways. That said, I love all my colorful patterns but sometimes there is that one that just makes me hop up and down in my chair clapping loudly like my two year old granddaughter. This is one of those times. LOL.

I’ve placed several orders that will be arriving soon. So excited.
