Travel Tuesday – Lisbon’s street art, hills and stairs

Graffiti art in Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon has lots of vibrant graffiti artists, some government approved others are free style. There are even street art tours, however, you’ll see many of them on your own by riding or strolling around the entire city. Day two of our June trip to Portugal, my youngest daughter stayed in to sleep so my oldest daughter and I headed out to explore locations I had found online before leaving the states.

I had no idea Lisbon had so many hills and stairs so I’m sharing these for future visitors.   Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, low 70’s but I needed to stop a few times to rest and even my gym going daughter also appreciated ‘my’ breaks lol. Of course, I looked back to see how far we had come and decided we needed to reward ourselves with lunch at the top of the stairs and down the street before reaching our first destination in Graca

Fashion Friday – Black, White and Red Graffiti Art Wear

Today’s Fashion Friday features Black, White and Red Graffiti Art Wearables.

Prior to my September 9, 2016 thyroid surgery, I would spend hours and hours on the computer posting travel images or designing art for home decor and fashion wear. My “new normal” is that nothing is no longer normal lol but I do what I can by using hundreds of pattern prints that were previously stored in my color draft folders.

This Black, White and Red Graffiti Art looks great as fashion wear for her!

Fashion Friday – Neoprene Lunch Bags

Dual purpose items are absolutely the best when you stumble upon an unexpected use. One evening, while walking home, I got caught in rain shower. Normally this wouldn’t have been a big deal, however the backpack I had my Nikon and a few tech items in was not waterproof. A second before panic came, I remembered I was carrying my now empty lunch bag! Seconds later, my Nikon and techie accessories were snuggly dry inside the water resistant, neoprene bag. Whew!

Now a bag is always inside my nylon backpack. I enjoy the extra bit of cushion with items no longer are poking me in the back. Winning! lol

Also, my other lunch bag looks great in the frig, as a lunch bag. Mix and match designs as a fun Friday Fashionista.
